Sarah & Taylor’s Wedding at William Aiken House
Keep scrolling to see gorgeous William Aiken Wedding Photos from Sarah & Taylor’s big day.
Some of the features of William Aiken House include:
- Up to 500 guests
- Distinguished as a National Historic Landmark
- Private gardens and two spacious courtyards for outdoor entertaining
- Elegant pergola and reflection pool
- First and second floor ballrooms with expansive outdoor covered piazzas
- Two formal dining rooms, an elegant drawing room and gentleman’s study
- Two guest suites in a beautifully restored, Gothic-style Carriage House
- Wireless Internet throughout the property
- Handicap accessible
This is truly one of my favorite Charleston wedding venues. Although, it’s right in the middle of iconic King Street, you still get to enjoy private gardens. Similarly, you get a stunning reflection pool, rich history, ballrooms and so much more. Additionally, everyone loves passing by the big yellow house and peaking inside.
The Details
To begin, Sarah and Taylor both got dressed on the property. Firstly, Sarah and her bridesmaids enjoyed the luxurious 19th century mansion. Meanwhile, the men got ready in the gothic carriage house. After that, they opted for a first look. Most importantly, that was when I was able to get those incredible William Aiken Wedding Photos that they dreamed of. Following photos, they shared a beautiful ceremony with their family and friends. The ceremony was in front of the carriage house. After saying I do, everyone had a fabulous cocktail hour, delicious dinner and then got down with the Masker Band. To sum up, the fun filled night ended with a dreamy sparkler exit, french fries for the guests and then the couple departed on a bike taxi!
In conclusion, special thank you to all the amazing Charleston wedding vendors that made this such a stunning event.
