Taylor Jordan is a fine art destination photographer, based out of Charleston, South Carolina.
Creating dreamy, candid and authentic imagery is her calling.
As seen in Charleston Magazine, Charleston Weddings Magazine, WNC and Grand Strand, Taylor has had the pleasure of collaborating with some of Charleston's top wedding vendors.
I'm originally from sunny South Florida but I can't seem to stay in the same place for too long! I've been calling Charleston my home for about four years now and its been a blast shooting 100's of incredible weddings and events. I absolutely love to travel and experience the world through my lens. There's no better feeling than getting the shot! If I'm not shooting, you can find me enjoying a wine night and attempting to cook for friends or exploring downtown.
I'm extremely easygoing and light hearted. My clients always tell me "you're so chill/relaxed" and I think everyone needs that on their special day. I always come extensively prepared to each shoot, however I WILL get down on the dance floor with you too.
I've been an artist since high school, where I attended the prestigious Alexander W. Dreyfoos School of the Arts. I continued my education at The Fashion Institute of New York and received my degree at Florida State University. GO NOLES! I constantly use my knowledge of light, design, and art history to create stunning photos in each and every shoot.

I'm based out of Charleston, South Carolina but I frequently travel for weddings and other photoshoots. I also do work out of South Florida and New York. I'm always passport ready and love to travel so please feel free to reach out about any destination weddings. If your destination is on my travel list, I will gladly offer a discount.
My fine art style is candid, authentic and can be described as photo journalistic, however I'm happy to pose and style whenever necessary. I can edit your photos in several styles from light and airy to moody or boho. Just ask!
I use professional grade Canon bodies with a variety of lenses as well as external lighting equipment. I also shoot with a film Contax body and 80 mm lens for gorgeous portraits. I have backup cameras, batteries, lenses and flashes so I am prepared for whatever could happen.
Yes! I offer a variety of albums, prints, canvases, keep sake boxes, loose prints and more. Each album is custom designed to be unique to you and printed from a third party with the finest quality paper so you can enjoy for generations. They are not included in my packages but may be added to any service I offer.
I have a guaranteed delivery time of 8 weeks for wedding photos, however its always sooner. I strive to get them done as soon as possible and my clients frequently praise me for my super fast turnaround time. Other photoshoots take way less, typically a week for family photos.
I frequently work with a second photographer or assistant and it can be super beneficial on your wedding day. I cannot physically be in two places at once, so by having a second photographer, it does just that! It will increase the chances that all the moments will be captured and will also offer some variety to your photos. The timeline will run smoother as well.
Absolutely! Not only will you get gorgeous images and create some fun memories together, but you will also have a chance to meet me, see me in action and feel more comfortable for your big day. They are a great opportunity for us to get to know each other better. I also offer discounted engagement sessions when booked with a wedding package.
Your date is officially booked once I have a signed contract and a 20% non-refundable retainer. Please understand I cannot hold a date through email inquiry only, as I receive quite a few for each particular date during the wedding season. They are booked on a first come first serve basis.
No. My couple's wedding has my complete focus and attention for the entirety of the day regardless of the amount of hours booked.
Absolutely! I photograph weddings of all kinds and love to do so. I am an inclusive photographer.
I do! I photograph all sorts of special events and would love to take part in yours. Custom packages are available for whatever your needs may be.
Every wedding is extremely unique with planning and timing, therefore I do offer a great package with unlimited time. My most frequent booking time is between 6-8 hours. I always insist to book for a little more time than necessary, so nobody feels rushed.
Just talk to me! I don't like turning away clients because of cost and if you are transparent about your budget, I can try to make it work with various customizations to my packages. I know how important budgets are and there is so much to consider with planning a wedding. Just keep in mind that these are memories and moments you are investing in, not just more stuff!
We definitely can but it is not a requirement for a smoothly running day. I am happy to meet for coffee, facetime or have a phone call at any time! I can also be directed towards your planner for the more detailed stuff. Engagement sessions are also a fantastic way to meet before the big day and get to know each other.
Vendor meals are not required, but strongly encouraged. If they are not provided, my team will need to have around an hour break to grab a meal/coffee!
I shoot everything in RAW format and post processing varies from shoot to shoot. You cannot have the RAW images.
I use Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom for all of my editing needs.
I run promotions from time to time. Off season and weekday pricing is available upon request. I also offer various mini sessions throughout the year for portraits.
I have shot at majority of the major venues in the Charleston area, however if I have not, I assure you it will not matter. I typically show up at least 30 minutes prior to my scheduled time so I can scope out locations and find the most aesthetically pleasing spots in the area. Lighting is also constantly changing, so as a photographer, I have to be quick to make adjustments at any location.
I can promise you have nothing to worry about! I personally feel super awkward having my photo taken, so I always do my best to help you feel comfortable and have a fun time. During the shoot, I offer several prompts to capture the action and to get you to have a natural vibe.
