I had the pleasure of joining Styled Shoots Across America and Intrigue Designs & Events in photographing the most stunning two-day floral workshop in Orlando, Florida. The event took place at the beautiful wedding venue, Luxmore Grand Estate and had some of the most epic floral installations I have ever seen. As a Charleston wedding photographer, it was a blast to get back down to Florida where I’m from.
Host Heather Benge always puts on incredible workshops and this one did not disappoint. She plans meticulously and has consequently traveled all over the US creating amazing events for wedding professionals. Additionally, alongside Heather was Sarah Cambell, a luxury floral teacher based in Annapolis. Sarah became extremely well known after winning Netflix’s show The Big Flower Fight.
Some of the designs included an electric rotating floral display, HUGE bouquets, vibrant wedding dresses and an over-the-top huppah at the front of the venue. Additionally, Lubelle’s Cakes created a multiple tiered wedding cake that included acrylic details and a ton of color.

I shot the photos mostly on analogue medium format film and had the images processed and scanned by Richard Photo Lab.
