Details:
Before I headed to Italy, I connected with Irene from Fairy Tale Italy Weddings to give me the scoop on the wedding shoot. The theme of this wedding was La Dolce Vita. You can see the black and white details that were reminiscent from the Italian film.
As a wedding photographer in Florence, I knew we had to shoot all over the gorgeous city. We started taking photos at the beautiful venue, Villa Merlo Nero. Next we headed to the Ponte Vecchio to capture photos of the bride with the water and bridge in the background. Then we went up the hill to Piazzalle Michelangelo. We could see the entire city down below!
The dress was designed by a Charleston based wedding designer, Emily Kotarski. I have worked with her before and she has stunning designs! Additionally, the couple rented a car from Slowhills. The car was an adorable blue vintage Fiat.
