Charleston Instagram-worthy Spots

  1. Rainbow Row

This iconic row of pastel-colored houses in Charleston’s Historic District is one of the most photographed spots in the city.

Rainbow Row is composed of thirteen Georgian-style homes that were built in the late 18th century and early 19th century. In the 1930s and 1940s, the houses were in poor condition until Dorothy Porcher Legge purchased and restored them. She painted the houses pastel colors to match the colors that would have been seen in the 18th century.

The address of Rainbow Row is 79-107 E Bay St, Charleston, SC 29401, and it’s located near the Charleston Harbor.

This photogenic location is perfect for those looking for an Instagram-worthy spot. Be sure to go during the morning or evening golden hour to get the best lighting.

2. The Battery

The Battery is a promenade and seawall that stretches along the southern tip of the Charleston peninsula. It’s one of the most iconic spots in Charleston, with views of the harbor, Fort Sumter, and the historic homes that line the waterfront. To get there, head to the intersection of East Bay Street and Murray Boulevard.

3. The Arthur Ravenel Jr. Bridge

One of the most iconic and photogenic structures in Charleston, the Arthur Ravenel Jr. Bridge is a must-visit destination for anyone looking to capture stunning photos of the city. The Angel Oak Tree is an excellent spot for photography, as it offers a striking contrast between the grandiose size of the tree and the natural beauty of its surroundings. Visitors can take advantage of the shaded area beneath the tree to capture stunning shots of the trunk and branches, as well as the interesting patterns formed by the exposed roots. Its one of the best Charleston Instagram-worthy Spots.
